More Wings and solo stuff for true fans!
To my opinion Paul should exclude most of the songs he’s done since he started touring in -89! Us true fans have heard them more than once, and there are so many other lovely songs that deserve to be highlighted! Why not ‘High high high’ for instance? Or ‘Another Day’, ‘Uncle Albert….’, ‘Longhaired Lady’, ‘The Backseat of My Car’, ‘Wild Life’, ‘London Town’, ‘Girlfriend’, ‘Deliver Your Children’, ‘One More Kiss’, the Meadly from ‘Red Rose’, ‘C’mon People’, ‘Get out of My Way’, ‘Magneto and Titanium Man’, ‘Listen to What the Man Said’, ‘Beware My Love’, ‘Cook of the House’, ‘She’s my Baby’, there are hundreds to pick and choose from! And why not play some of the ‘John- and George-songs’ even if the royalties end up somewhere else than in sir Paul’s own pockets? He’s got enough money left there even after having to cough up for Heather.
AND: They don’t all have to sound exactly as they did ‘then’…… one of the greatest experiences I’ve had live was in -89, when he did ‘Things We Said Today’ in a slightly new arrangement - it was absolutely MARVELLOUS! More of that, thank you!
Ciao,
Nina, a Swedish middleaged girl, living in Denmark, who can’t imagine life without the Beatles and Wings………
